Here are a few of keynotes related to MathGenius 2020 National Contests and the rankings:
- 45 States across the United States (and a few countries outside the US, including Canada, UK, and India) were represented in this year’s MathGenius Contest.
- There is intense competition for the top ranks. Several students were tied. Wherever multiple children secured the same score resulting in a tie for a rank, tie-break rules as published in Test FAQs and the Test description/emails were followed. Please visit Test FAQs and look under ‘What is the prize money for MathGenius Contest’.
- For some grades, we published more than 10 ranks. When thees of all the students who re is a tie around the 10th rank, we published the name at the score.
- If you find a typo of your child’s name or any other details in the below ranking table, please write to support@mathusacademy.com. We copied the names registered for the tests. If you find that a parent’s name is listed instead of the child’s name, it is because the parent’s name was entered on the registration website in place of the child’s name. Apart from writing to us, please also login to the site and correct the name so that it will be accurate for future tests. Please also make sure that the parent details are accurately captured as well. Likewise, if the state field is blank for your child, it means the state is not entered in your child’s profile during the registration. Please email us your state and fill it in the profile page on the site by logging in.
- To see your child’s grades in MathGenius Contest and MathCore Prep test, please log in to the test system, click on your child’s name at the right top of the screen and then navigate to ‘grades’. Your child’s grades in the tests will be visible there.
- If you have registered for the ResponseSheet, you will be able to see your child’s responses for each question along with the questions, answer choices, and detailed step-by-step solutions for all questions now at www.mathusacademy.com/responsesheet. Please login with the same username (email) as your test login, and with password Rs@2k19. Immediately after login, the system will require you to change the password. After changing the password, you will be able to see the registered ResponseSheet(s), i.e., MathGenius and/or MathCore. If you have not registered for the ResponseSheets, the login will work and they will not be available. If you would like to register for ResponseSheet now, please send an email to Ramya and Sridevi (copied in this email) and they may be able to register in the backend manually. If any images in the questions are solutions are not rendering, it could be browser-specific, computer-specific or internet speed issues. We tested all the questions and solutions and they are rendering, but we heard from a few parents that they couldn’t see images on certain browsers, computers or at a particular time. Please try it on a different browser, computer or be patient until the net speed is better.
- Below the ranks tables, score distribution charts are published by grade for MathGenius Contest and MathCore Prep test. Along with the grade scores in the system, these charts will help students figure out where they are relative to other students in the grade.
