Registration for the popular Math competition ‘Math Kangaroo’ is now opened up by Math Kangaroo. The contest will be on March 19, 2020 all over the United States in local venues and is open for 1st – 12th grade students. If you would like to get more info or register your child, please go to their website www.mathkangaroo.org directly and register there.
Mathus Academy offers Math Kangaroo online prep classes for 1st – 8th grade children from November 2 through March 14 (with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year). These classes will prepare kids to do well in the Math Kangaroo competition. The classes will also indirectly help for other Math competitions.
There will be 16 classes of 2 hrs each from Nov to March. The fee for 32 hours of instruction, including homework, is $640 (at reasonable $20 per hr). There is an early bird discount of $40 for the fee paid by October 15, with an effective fee of $600 for the complete package (@ $18.75 per hr). Sibling discounts and multi-course discounts are also available if you have two or more children registering or combine with any other courses.

A few seats are left in our popular MathGenius, SpellGenius, LanguageGenius, ScienceGenius,SAT/ACT and High School courses across all subjects including AP and Honors courses. You can register for any of these courses at the above link.
To avail of the early bird, please send the fee of $600 by October 15 via PayPal to mathusacademy@gmail.com from a linked bank account with ‘pay to a friend’ option. For all other courses, one of our team members will call you after registering at the above link and walk you through the process.
Math Kangaroo Prep classes will be on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Detailed schedules will be published later this month in this space and will also be emailed to the registered students. If you have any schedule conflicts, please enter them in the ‘comments’ field in the registration form. We will try to work with you on the schedules.
Current students of year-long MathGenius course: Math Kangaroo and other Contest Prep will be integrated into MathGenius and there is no need to re-register for Math Kangaroo Prep.
Please note that Mathus Academy is in no way related to Math Kangaroo (except in a small way in Georgia by providing our Alpharetta and Marietta center facilities to conduct the tests on March 19, 2020). Please do not call us or email us for registering to the contest as only Math Kangaroo organization will be able to help with it :).
